"It's rare to find a singer who can vary so much in tone, from soft with an airy edge, to powerful vocals so well controlled, without loosing a pleasant tonal quality. It's obvious that her voice was made for the stage, and as a pop singer, this separates her from the rest. Her tuning and rhythmic accuracy makes recording and melodies a simple task. I hardly need to touch her recorded vocals for a nice full sound. This, combined with her taste in music and enthusiasm makes kate a singer I very much enjoy working with.
This album has been a journey in many ways, to produce, and to bring to conclusion. The organisation and printing of the scorebook, composition, and locating musicians, were particular challenges. I'm relatively pleased with the final result and only hope that people are able to connect with the intentions behind the album and each track as deeply as was intended."
