"I wrote this when I was suffering from Glandular fever, in December 2003. This illness has me completely incapacitated for over 3 months, right at the start of my creative music & technology degree at Brunel University. I was told that I would probably have to retake the entire year. After spending 4 years at Surrey, this news was shattering. Various other personal situations were taking a cliff-drop. As the song reflects, I was not feeling at all like success was my destiny. But, I will keep fighting all the way til' the end. I returned to university in january, and spent every day for 4 weeks catching up on coursework, whilst still recovering from the illness. I would not wish this illness on anyone.Some are affected quite mildly- for those of you who are affected badly, keep fighting. The same goes for all of you who are finding success impossible. Keep on fighting until you're through, even if it may be never. If you have the enthusiasm for something, don't let anyone or anything get in your way.
